Building on our momentum

Why we're gathering again

On November 3, 2025, Five Keys and the Community Action Partners Alliance convened the second annual Reimagining Reentry Summit at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu. With generous support from JPMorgan Chase, the Summit brought together reentry leaders, justice-impacted professionals, workforce practitioners, policymakers, and community-based organizations from across California.

The Summit centered lived experience as leadership, and reinforced second-chance hiring and public-private collaboration as strategies for real systems change. Participant feedback affirmed the impact: stronger partnerships, deeper understanding, and insights attendees could apply immediately in their communities.

"Building on that momentum, Summit 3 will bring together leaders, practitioners, employers, policymakers, and people with lived experience to move beyond conversation and toward collective action."

The Summit creates a collaborative space to connect, reflect, challenge assumptions, and share solutions — advancing practical approaches that strengthen reentry, expand opportunity, and build pathways to lasting success.
